Time flies! Six months have already passed, and I have successfully completed my first semester at Tomorrow University. It feels like I just started yesterday. In this short time, I’ve learned so much and delved deeply into topics that have always interested me, such as entrepreneurship, leadership, and the ability to continuously adapt to new challenges. My latest certificate in “Entrepreneurial Mindset” is visible proof of my progress and confirms that the path I’ve chosen is the right one for me.
Learning in an International Context – A True Enrichment
What makes this program especially exciting for me is the international community that I interact with every day. In my courses, there are people from all over the world – all with different experiences, skills, and perspectives. It’s particularly interesting to note that at 47 years old, I’m often older than most of my fellow students, who tend to be younger. This age difference adds even more value to the discussions and enriches the learning experience. Every time I participate in a discussion or work on a project, I learn so much from my classmates, who come from various cultures and industries.
It’s fascinating how we all work on shared topics like sustainability, entrepreneurship, and innovation, while developing so many different solutions. This diversity of ideas and approaches is what makes studying at Tomorrow University so special. It’s not just about learning content; it’s about developing innovative ideas together that can truly make a difference in the real world. I couldn’t have imagined a better learning environment – I feel completely at home here.
Entrepreneurial Mindset Changes Everything
What I’ve come to appreciate most over the past few months is the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset. Entrepreneurship isn’t just a business model; it’s a way of life. It’s about approaching challenges with a creative, solution-oriented mindset, and that’s exactly what we’re taught at Tomorrow University. The “Entrepreneurial Mindset” course showed me that every step we take must be accompanied by a clear vision and a strategic approach. It’s not just about solving problems but discovering new opportunities where others might see obstacles.
Over the past six months, I’ve also learned more about myself as an entrepreneur. This program has shown me how important it is to remain flexible, to continuously reorient myself, and to make bold decisions even when the path ahead is uncertain. These insights complement and reinforce my 26+ years of experience in leadership and management and give me new ideas for confidently tackling the challenges of the future.
Lifelong Learning – Shaping the Future
What fascinates me the most about Tomorrow University is its philosophy: It’s not just about earning a degree or gaining knowledge, but about developing an attitude of lifelong learning. Of course, there are challenges associated with studying purely online. Sometimes, it’s not easy to find all the information or schedules right away. But compared to the many benefits that flexible learning offers, these minor hurdles are hardly worth mentioning. These are challenges that can be overcome with good organization and communication. The interaction with classmates and instructors still works smoothly, making the whole experience overwhelmingly positive.
I’m already looking forward to the coming months and the next set of challenges. My first semester was filled with exciting insights, and I can’t wait to see how my studies will continue to evolve. This journey has only just begun, and I’m excited to see where it will take me next.
